Fried rice comes with a lot of nutrients because of its added ingredients. There is even a vegan recipe for fried rice which shows that it can be made in various ways.

How To Prepare Fried Rice.

Wash your rice, drain it, then pour into a pot to boil for some minutes (10-15 mins) let it be cooked medium not too hard and not too soft. Remove and wash (to remove the starch), drain and pour some clean water into the pot, put your rice back into the pot and turn on the fire. Let it boil a little, slice your bell peppers, chili pepper, carrots, get some green peas and corn also.

Now you can either Add your green peas, corn, and sliced ingredients into the frying pan, which should be already heated with a little oil and stir, then pour it into the pot of rice and mix it together with the rice. Add some spices according to your taste stir and wait for the water to dry up.

Or add your green peas, corn, sliced kidney,( kidney is an optional ingredient) and sliced ingredients into your boiling rice: this will give the rice a good taste when it boils together with your ingredients.

Add some meat stock into the rice, make sure you don't have a lot of water in your rice because of the stock liquid, so the rice will not be to soft and sticky, Then add your spices (salt, curry, coriander, Maggi cubes, soy sauce, etc) stir and allow the water to dry up and you can serve. This dish can be served with salad, Moi Moi, cold drinks, and more. This process mentioned above is the Nigerian method.
