Established by the Paris Institute of Political Studies, also known as Science Po University in France, the Emily Boutmy Scholarship Awards are named after the institute's founder. These awards aim to provide bright minds from around the world with the chance to study in a modern, research-oriented university that ranks among France's finest institutions.
Funding Allowances for Emily Boutmy Scholarships:
For Bachelor’s Level Students:
Type A: €13,000 per year for tuition fees throughout the Bachelor’s degree program and a €5,000 grant for living costs for three years.
Type B: €8,800 per year for tuition fees throughout the Bachelor’s degree program.
Type C: €6,000 per year for tuition fees throughout the Bachelor’s degree program.
Type D: €3,600 per year for tuition fees throughout the Bachelor’s degree program.
For Graduate Level Students:
A one-time grant of €12,200 per year towards tuition fees for the entire duration of the Master’s degree program.
Eligibility to Apply for Emily Boutmy Scholarship:
Nationality:
Applicants can be of any nationality except for European.
Dual nationality holders are ineligible if one of them is an EU citizen.
Swiss and Norwegian students cannot apply, as they may be entitled to the CROUS Scholarships.
Candidates from Quebec are ineligible for Master’s degree programs but can apply for Bachelor’s degree programs.
Educational Requirements:
The scholarship does not fund dual degree Bachelor’s programs, except under specific terms.
No support for dual degree Master’s programs, except for specific partnerships.
Exchange students are not eligible.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
Proficiency in French is not mandatory, provided the applicant has command over the English language.
